Your tasks and your preferences (appearance, color theme, keyboard shortcut, sound and accessibility options). They are saved only on your Mac, inside the app's sandbox container.
What Day Rail collects
Nothing. The app makes no network connections. It has no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, tracking or third-party code, and it doesn't need an account. The developer never receives your tasks or any information about how you use the app.
Deleting your data
Settings → Clear All Data… deletes every task. Deleting the app from your Mac removes everything it stored.
Children
Day Rail collects no information from anyone, including children.
